The Muskingum softball team dominated Wilmington College on Sunday winning game one, 13-0 and game two, 7-0.
Through the doubleheader the Muskies saw two great pitching performances by the first two pitchers in their rotation. Sarah Browning through five innings in game one, giving up just three hits. In game two, Gill threw for a complete game three-hitter with three strikeouts.
The Muskie offense was led by Dakota DeAmicis who went 5-5 in the doubleheader with five RBI’s. Browning helped herself out in game one with a grand slam in the bottom of the fourth. Browning finished the day at the plate going 4-6 with seven RBI’s.
The Muskies (15-15, 6-6) have now won five straight overall and in the conference. They now sit at sixth overall in the OAC. The Muskies will play next at Mount Union on Tuesday, April 14th with game one starting at 3:00 p.m.
