New Concord hosted their annual Christmas Parade and Tree Lighting Nov. 28.
Dr. Jeff Harman, Professor of Communication at Muskingum University, announced the parade in front of the New Concord Village Hall. Local groups and businesses continued down Main Street while they threw candy at the surrounding crowd.
The tree lighting took place next to the New Concord branch library at 6:15 p.m.
