Orbit Television is now broadcasting on channel 96.5. Some students on campus are finding it difficult to access the channel on their televisions in on-campus housing. Time Warner Cable is responsible for the change from our analog to digital channel. They did so by “repackaging” which refers to moving lower level analog channels to higher digital channels with available space. It was necessary so that Time Warner could make room for more internet bandwidth. Students who are still struggling to find Orbit TV can re-scan their channels. If re-scanning doesn’t allow access, students are encouraged to contact Time Warner Cable directly.
