Here’s a look at some of the things that Orbit Media is talking about this week!
The Majors Fair is on The Quad on Tuesday! WMCO will be there playing music. Students: come down and see what majors are offered here on campus!
The Muskingum Theatre Department Presents: Proof! The show opens in Thompson Theatre and tickets are free with a Muskie ID. Show times are Wednesday-Friday at 8 P.M., and Sunday at 2.
Homecoming is here! This week’s events include:
- Homecoming Bonfire – Wednesday, Oct. 21 – 6:30 P.M. on the Quad. Support your Muskie Fall Sports, cheerleaders & band, and see who will be in the “Top 3” for Homecoming Court. There will be s’mores and other freebies!
- Homecoming Parade – Saturday, Oct. 24 – 12 P.M. Come support Muskingum & New Concord organizations in the annual parade, starting on College Drive and ending on Comin Street! Remember to bring a bag for candy and other goodies!
- 5K Muskie Fun Run – Saturday, Oct. 24 – 8:30 A.M. Open to students, faculty, & staff. The course begins and ends on the East Lawn. To register, send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org with the subject line “register for Muskie Fun Run” and include your first and last name. All runners must be registered by Thursday.
- Banner Contest – Friday, Oct. 23. Prizes will be awarded to the first, second and third place banner entries! Bring in your decorated sheet to the Student Affairs office by October 22 at 5 P.M. Check the Student Digest in your emails for rules and contact information.
WMCO will be broadcasting the Homecoming Parade LIVE from the East Lawn and playing music at Brown Chapel! Come on down to see us!
Beyond The Headlines: “Giving to the Community” airs on WMCO Tuesday and Friday at 11 A.M.
Men’s Soccer plays Mount Union at 4 P.M. on Tuesday.
The Women’s Volleyball Team goes up against Mount Union Tuesday at 7 P.M.
Football faces Ohio Northern during the Homecoming game! Pregame starts at 1:00 live on WMCO.
Women’s Soccer also plays Ohio Northern later that night, at 7.
