WMCO 90.7 FM is licensed to Muskingum University in New Concord, Ohio as a non-commercial, educational radio station. Our 30-mile radius serves east-central Ohio including the cities of Zanesville and Cambridge from the antenna site on Muskingum’s campus. View the WMCO program schedule.


WMCO signed on the air Jan. 28, 1961 under the student leadership of Mr. Harold Burlingame ’62. WMCO relocated studios to Caldwell Hall in the 2004-2005 academic school year and produces programming from the Geyer Studio and Anderson Radio Classroom. WMCO 90.7 FM streams online 24/7. WMCO has proudly participated in College Radio Day since 2011 and is a recipient of the “Spirit of College Radio Award” in 2022 and 2023. #CollegeRadioDay

Programming
WMCO plays all types of music, with a concentration on newly-released, non-mainstream music. Listen for local news, live sports, and community event announcements. WMCO is part of the academic program of the Department of Communication, Media, & Theatre and is operated by students in media classes and campus and community volunteers.
