Here’s a look at some of the things that Orbit Media is talking about this week!

Muskingum University’s newest president is being announced in a ceremony at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, and will be broadcast live on WMCO! Listen to the announcement by clicking “Listen Live” underneath the WMCO 90.7 tab at the top of the page.

Learn to prepare Chinese dishes with NCAARD’s cooking class. The class is held Tues., March 1 from 6:00-8:30 p.m.  at the John Glenn High School cooking lab. Contact Judy Beetem at (740) 826-2293 for more information.

A Criminal Justice Career Fair is coming to campus on Tuesday from 11:00-12:30 p.m. in the Caldwell Hall lobby. Several organizations will be attending, including:

  • Ohio Homeland Security
  • Muskingum County Sheriff’s Office
  • Zane State-Peace Officer Training Academy
  • Ohio Bureau of Motor Vehicles Investigations
  • Guernsey County Common Pleas Court
  • Franklin County Community Based Correctional Facility
  • ONDR, Division of Watercraft

Sports Preview

Catch the mens lacrosse game vs. Bethany live on WMCO Wednesday! The game starts at 4:00 p.m., with pregame at 3:30.

What Happened During the Week

The Muskingum University theatre department put on a production of Eugene O’Neil’s play Ah, Wilderness! last week, beginning Thursday and running through Sunday. We interviewed two cast members on The Muskie Daily!

Ah, Wilderness cast members give inside details

The Muskingum University Communication, Media, & Theatre Department’s latest production of Eugene O’Neill’s Ah, Wilderness! opens Thursday night at 8 p.m. in the Sandra Wolfe Thompson Theatre.


Directed by Visiting instructor of Theatre Jimmy Bohr, the audience takes a step back in time to Fourth of July weekend 1906.

Set in a small town of Connecticut, the classic comedy depicts small town values and the challenge of being an up and coming adult while being in love.

The cast includes Tim Pollock of New Concord as Nat Miller, Junior Olivia Brown as Essie, and Junior Adam Livingston as Richard among several others.

The show opens Thursday and runs through Sunday. Show time for Thursday through Saturday performances is 8 p.m. with Sunday’s show opening at 2 p.m.

Tickets for the public are five dollars available at the door or by calling the theatre box office at (740) 826-8376.
