Basketball hosts John Carroll for Hoops for Hunger

The Muskingum men’s and women’s basketball programs fell to the John Carroll Blue Streaks on Dec. 4 to open Ohio Athletic Conference play for the 2021-22 season. Both games were promoted as a Hoops for Hunger doubleheader, with canned food, non-perishables, and cash donated to the College Drive Presbyterian Church food pantry. The women lost 76-68, and the men lost 87-84.

Last Saturday’s men’s basketball game marked the final WMCO sports broadcast of my Muskingum career. I want to thank all of the listeners who made this dream a reality, and I am honored to have been in orbit with you for the last three and a half years.
