Muskingum University’s May 2024 Undergraduate and Graduate Commencement ceremony aired live on Orbit TV and WMCO 90.7 Radio Saturday, May 4 at 2 p.m. The ceremony was in the Anne C. Steele Center at Muskingum University.

The Baccalaureate service was held at 10 a.m. in Brown Chapel. The service was led by Muskingum Chaplain Rev. Derek Wadlington with readings by seniors Kailyn Shalosky and Hannah Grove.

Wadlington encouraged graduates to “practice simple random acts of kindness…live a life of simply trying to be a good person” and “offer others grace.”

The Baccalaureate ceremony was followed by a hooding ceremony for Muskingum’s graduate students who are earning master’s degrees in Applied Leadership, Business and Information Systems, Education, and Teaching.

Dr. Debra Clausing Sudan ’85 provided the Saturday Commencement address.
