Storytelling Festival accepting “big fail” submissions

BigFish FolkLife has announced the 2022 Amateur Storytelling Contest is now open.

BigFish is seeking original stories about “big fails” to share during the 2022 StoryFest Radio Show on Sunday, Sept. 4, from 12-4 p.m. on WMCO.

Winners will be aired on WMCO 90.7 FM and online. Stories must follow FCC guidelines, and contain no profane, obscene, or indecent content.

Record your story of 2-4 minutes and email it to bigfishfolklife@gmail.com by Thursday, Sept. 1.

BigFish Folklife is a religious non-profit organization in Appalachia with the mission to bring together artists and audiences in a cultural exchange of folklife stories and to provide retreat, education, and worship opportunities for and by artists.
