Hailing from San Diego, Shay has made a name for herself in the blues industry. She has won the San Diego music award four years in a row, including the 2019 artist of the year.
Shay’s latest album Stand Up! is her third album release after Soul Tonic and A Woman Rules the World. Her music addresses themes of female empowerment and staying true to yourself while still having a good time.

Shay recorded the album in Austin, Texas at Austin’s Wire Recording Studio with producer Kaz Kazanoff. It was there she was able to get in the headspace to create some funky, fresh, and moving sounds.
