Muskingum University invites the community to celebrate the holidays during two special events.

The university celebrates the annual lighting of its campus to welcome the holiday season. The Celebration of Light will open with music from Muskingum University students. The program will feature prayers, poetry, scriptures, carols, and songs on the theme of light by Muskingum students, faculty, and staff, as they reflect on the meaning of light in their own faith traditions. The event is Tuesday, Nov. 29 at 6 p.m. in the Roberta A. Smith Library’s McCalmont Colloquium Center.

Following the ceremony, all are invited back into the library to conclude the evening with hot chocolate and fellowship. The community is invited to walk or drive throughout the campus to enjoy the lights. The lights will remain lit until January 2023.
